I believe in our being a part of something much bigger than our physical bodies. I found a statement that hit it on the head: "I am a spiritual being having a human life experience." There is so much that scientists and "smart" people can't explain or understand so they discount it as anecdotal or nonsense. Just because they are smart and have degrees up the wazoo doesn't mean they know everything, and they should be able to admit it.
Betty Jean Eadie wrote a book "Embraced by the Light" years ago - about her experiences when she had "died" on the operating table for 40 minutes. The white light, love, and her Jesus on the other side. And figuring out our life's purpose. That's a tough one. But we can do it!
