Los Chaparros Mexican Restaurant

On St. Patrick's Day, Wendell felt like eating Mexican food so we found ourselves at Los Chaparros Mexican Restaurant on Beretania.











Wendell had a combo Chimichanga and Quesadilla ($13.75).


I usually order the Los Chaparros Salad with Chicken which is really good, but I decided on the Nachos with Ground Beef instead ($9.00).  I shoulda stuck with the salad.  The nachos was just okay.

Da Falafel King

I've been wanting to try the food at Da Falafel King for sometime.  I finally got a chance the other day.


I pass by the truck on my way home from work.  It's on King Street right after Down to Earth just before University Avenue.




This is Aviv.  She was super, super nice.


She gave me an order of these Pita Chips for free!!  They were REALLY GOOD!!! 


I bought the #2 Sabich (Egg and Eggplant Sandwich).  I looooved it.

Coworkers Lauren and Mark went to check them out right after work on the same day.  Lauren had the Shawarma (Grilled Chicken and Lamb) and Mark had the Kebab (Grilled Beef and Lamb).  They both said that they really liked what they ordered.

Yes Princess! - 3/25/2012

The "Yes, Princess!" event created by Michell and Sharon, owners and operators of 808 Bodyworks, was held this past Sunday at the Pearl Country Club.  The evening was festive as ladies shopped for their princess essentials and pampered themselves with massage, hair redos, skin rejuvenation and eyebrow threading.  Pole dance, fitness demos and a fashion show were provided along with a professional MC for entertainment.

I had a really great time watching these ladies enjoying themselves.
