Landon's Mai Fun

Landon made this a couple days ago.

He first soaked a bag of mai fun noodles in water for 1/2 hour.

He stir fried "some" bean sprouts, choi sum, shiitake mushrooms, sliced green beans, cabbage, celery, green bell pepper, finely chopped dried shrimp and fried eggs in a pan. He seasoned with "some" oyster sauce, black beans, curry powder, Chinese five spice and chicken broth powder.

Then he threw in the softened noodles.

It came out yummy.

Yum! I found a recipe similar to this one using "glass noodles". I like that you don't need to boil the noodles, just soak them. Are you gaining weight with all this delicious cooking in your house?

That looks so delicious. You are so blessed with a husband and son that both love to cook!

Whoa......the Mai Fun looks better than noodle dishes at Duk Kee Choy Suey in Kaimuki.

Wow that’s a lot of different spices! Interesting!

Aunty, been wondering about "glass noodles". We gotta try that next. I am totally gaining weight, especially being as sedentary as I am.

Izsmom, so lucky, yah.

Kat, it's different 'cause it's a dry type of noodle dish instead of saucy.

Kay, LOL.

Chet, ho, that's Wendell's favorite Chinese food place.

Susan, it had a bunch of varying flavors.
