“canned” TOMATO BASIL BISQUE

½ 26 oz. can heavy cream

½ 26 oz. can milk
2 tsp. dried basil

1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

Dash tabasco
Garnish: chopped green onion, Parmesan cheese
** croutons

In a saucepan over medium heat combine tomato soup, cream and milk. Add seasoning; simmer 10 minutes.

DO NOT bring to a boil; simmer until heated through. Garnish as desired.

** Croutons would make a great topping!  Serves 4 starters or 2 as entrees.

V, I haven't tried it yet, but I'm thinking it would go really good with some cheese/onion/ham/jalapeno buns!
