Drive time to Shikisai-no-Oka in Biei was 4 hours loooooong, but you know what . . . it was totally worth it.
The rolling hills of flowers was one of the things that drew us to this tour, and it did not disappoint.

Beautiful. I'll need to add this to my bucket list. I went to see the tulips in Skaggit (north of Seattle) and they were beautiful. Gotta see flowers in person. Thank you for sharing your adventures.

what do they do with the flowers? just plant them for everyone to enjoy or do they cut them and sell them?

Izsmom, even though the bus will make rest stops, I totally have a phobia about having to go shi shi on long bus rides so I limit my liquids in the morning.

Les, what was really cool was that the ground on some of the fields was actually at chest level, so it was easy to take "low" shots.
