Bird Poop

Sorry, I'm behind in post processing my Japan photos, so I have something else to share with you today.

Bird poop.  So gross, yah.  Our neighbor's mango tree which produced a total of one mango on our side of the tree this year is apparently now home to a few birds.

Here's my solution. It's been only a few days, and it seems to be working. We shall see.

j: ohh junk - I see that on the sidewalks here wherever there are trees, seems even if it's a huge tree they like hang out w/ each other - flock behavior. Most birds do not like anything new but with time they get use to it. My parrot will freak out at a new toy I put up even flying away from her cage and after a week she settles down. Good luck! -N

Kat, and for all the mango leaves we gotta rake up!

Izsmom, good luck.

N, thanks!

Susan, I tied two CDs together and Landon put it up high in the tree.

Why do birds have to poop so much, yeah? Hope they have found another branch to squat on.

I thought that was what it was. Hope it works! So I have this area at the front of my house that critters can go and stay under especially when it rains. Usually the neighbor's roosters like to hang out there and of course they poop. I decided to make the place look neater and planted ornamental plants and mulched it and to keep the roosters out we bought this wire fencing. Well, something has been messing with the mulch and I was wondering what could get through the fencing. Yesterday I saw a cat sitting under there : / Musta squeezed itself somehow. When it stops raining I need to cat proof it too!!!
