Remember Wiki Burger in Market City? Wendell said that the burgers were actually 24 cents each or 5/$1.00. He said that he liked the mustard/mayo/relish sauce.
I remember it for the cigarette machine that we could sneak and buy cigarettes from.
Thanks for sharing the photo, Fay!

j: yup that was our lunch go to place - we use to buy lunch there and play trumps in the newsroom. I also loved Alex's Drive Inn - I think they were the only ones that had shoe string french fries, I use to eat their fries almost daily after school. Must've been cheap cuz I nevah have too much money cuz I didn't work
Kat, good thing some people had the foresight to take pictures like that yah!
N, I didn't go to Alex's Drive Inn too much. Don't know why.
Looking at this pic brought memories of places I went to as a kid. It’s sweet but sad to reminisce. Especially when the ppl that brought you there are no longer around.
Dad never drove us to that part of town, so I don't remember it. But I do rememba Da Cigarette Machine at Kahala Bowl next to Longs. ; )
Later they built a McDonalds out front with a doorway to the bowling ally. This was right next to Kahala Mall.
Susan, awww, that IS sad.
Mark, I remember going to that bowling alley.
Jalna...... I think Wiki Burger is an Awesome Name! How fun that must have been!
