Our hotel in Asahikawa was called OMO7 Asahikawa.
Our breakfast buffet at the hotel's restaurant OMO Cafe & Bar was fabulous.
This was from my first pass through the line. I did go back for more, but looks like I forgot to update my picks.
I wish I could have more of this right now.

ooh the OMO hotels are the reasonably priced end of the Hoshino Resort brand.
Beautiful presentation too!
Looks fantastic! I could eat the Japanese stuff every day with rice and ume.
Oh my! Look at all those pastries! Yum. I feel like I gained 5 lbs just looking at all that food. Looks so delicious.

j: O M G that is magnificent food! Why oh why can't a restaurant in O'ahu do one, like a Japanese breakfast place? Just like that all Japanese style *sigh* I think I could eat lil dat everyday. Or even a Japanese buffet, like real Japanese not American/Japanese. *sigh* -N
OMG!...... I would not want to Leave and go sight seeing! I would just sit there and keep eating!~
....Wheeee! ; )
Kat, we were actually supposed to stay at a hotel nearer to the train station and Aeon Mall, but due to some kind of mix-up we got to stay there.
Susan, I agree!
Aunty, me too.
Izsmom, my favorite.
N, I needed hours to fully enjoy the food. I think it was my favorite of all. And according to the website the buffet is only 2000 yen.
Mark, I actually wish I could've just stayed too.
