Do you remember my coworker CQ? Well, her brother Chris Quisote has a lunch wagon in the Don Quijote Kaheka parking lot. It's called "da ala cart". He's been there for three weeks now serving these onolicious grilled kushiyaki (tidbits on a stick). All of the items are $1.75 each.
Chris grills his kushiyaki to order. It takes about 15 minutes so he usually recommends that his customers order first and then return for their items after shopping. Better yet, you can even phone in your orders ahead of time. His number is 224-5110.
This is the Aspara-maki, bacon-wrapped asparagus. I think it's seasoned with a little bit of sea salt.
Bacon-wrapped Shishamo!! How unusual yeah! Chris said this is his best seller.
Marinated Pork Belly!
Gyu-Tan - Beef Tongue with Sesame
Shiitake Mushrooms
Chicken Wings with Sea Salt
Yaki Mochi
Here's hard-working Chris. Go check him out. Call first and he'll have your order ready when you get there . . . 224-5110.
They're closed on Thursdays, but are otherwise open 4 pm to 9 pm everyday. Chris hopes to expand his menu as his business picks up and wants to include musubi as a selection!
thanks for today
