It was a total pleasure helping out Les yesterday getting photographs of Chris and Carolyn's big day. We started out separately with me going to Aina Haina to catch Chris getting ready and Leslie at the Ilikai with the girls. We met up at Kaimuki Christian Church for the ceremony and then off to Hale Koa for the reception. We met Makoto Kiryu, an awesome professional photographer, and Maya Kudo McCullough of Maka'ala Productions who are involved in putting together a Hawaii wedding article for a Japanese magazine. Chris and Carolyn are the sweetest, sweetest couple. I just loooved getting to know them and their families yesterday.
Oh, I meant to put my comment here...awesome pictures...the bride's dress is gorgeous and the flowers so lovely. The groom is rather tall. Did he have some military guys as his groomsmen? The food looked really good too!
omg..that's some coverage..how'd you get from that high up shot then to the tight ring shot so fast!?!! the ring shot inside the bouquet is beautiful... and then down to the beach. The dessert looks sooo yummy...Looks like you had a great workout..so it'll balance out the two buffets you ate. :-)
Shun Wah, you're right. . . I got choke exercise yesterday. Thanks for making me feel better about the two buffets. I took kajillion shots of the ring in the bouquet to get that one. Thank God for digital.
Thanks Erick. When I took pictures of the groom by himself I didn't think he was especially tall. Next to the other people though, he towers. Maybe everybody else is short.

You made Ben Chrisman proud! Thanks for all your help!!!
I thought that was pretty cool too, Kat. . . lucky shot.
Hahaha Betty. The groomsmen are Chris' brothers and I think Aleka is in the Army. The food was really good.
Thanks Les. You too funny. Now I gotta hustle with the CD.

Wow, very nice! Great candid shots. Is the groom really tall compared to everyone else? He looks really tall.
Great job!
