Ikuko and Tom were married at Tom's church, the Shingon Shu Hawaii temple on Sheridan Street. I met and got to know the church's minister Reyn Tsuru, whose goal is to bring Buddhism closer to home and more in tune to the younger generation.
Aren't Ikuko and Tom the cutest couple? It was a pleasure being able to help shoot their wedding.
Great job! You got fantastic shots of the ceremony. I love the angle and the bright sun didn't seem to be a problem. Very nice reception shots too. I know Tom and Ikuko will just love your photos. Terrific job!
Cool shots of the wedding...so I notice..where was the bouquet when she walked down the aisle since she tossed it later? Is that not traditional? hmm.... You got great shots even though it looked really dark inside.
I didn't see the bouquet until after the wedding. It decorated the head table. And you're right Shun Wah it was a very hard shoot inside of the church with very, very strong sunlight streaming into the dark room.

Wow, so interesting! This is like once in a lifetime kind of stuff...I mean when do you think you'll ever shoot something like this again?? Good job!
You're right, Les, probably won't ever get the chance again.

Betty, not only was the bride beautiful, she was so charming and a bit comical at times. It really was a joy shooting her.
Didi, it's the church that's right next to the Keeaumoku McDonald's.
