I can't believe that it was over two years ago that me and Susie went to the Foster Botanical Garden in Search of the Madagascaro Gecko. The memory of that day is still so vivid, it seems like it was only yesterday.
We had a half day work day today so we both met up with Erick, Shun Wah and Sze at the Foster Garden in the afternoon. It's so awesome to have pals who share the same passion for photography as we do. Shun Wah and Erick tried their hands again at HDR; Susie tested out her new 5D Mark II and I went with my 100mm macro lens.

Wow Celia and Rand, you guys going give me one big head. Rand, I have a Canon 100mm macro f2.8. I just bought it used off of Craiglist about a month ago.
The wind was kinda blowing some of the plants, so I have this little trick that I use a lot. I held the stem steady with my left hand. But that leaves me with only my right hand to hold the camera steady right? Soooo, I bring my left shoulder across in front my body kinda under my chin and then rest the edge of the camera on my left shoulder. I can keep the camera really steady like that. This only really works if you're a left-eyed shooter though.
A beautiful series of photographs! Great colors and detail!
Thanks Jesse!
