Cy's Pasta

My brother Cy made this.  He got the recipe from the Times Supermarket site and is actually  from actress and comedian Kimee Balmilero.  She calls it "Moot's Mom's Fresh Spaghetti".   Cy said that it's "super easy" to make.

I copied and pasted the recipe exactly as it is from here so if it's a bit hard to understand . . . not my fault.

Looks good! I hardly ever make pasta because I just can't get the hang of cooking the dang noodles. My Healing Seitai friend, out of the blue, told me about cooking spaghetti noodles the easy way. Maybe I'll try it. Maybe it will be a future post if it works out. Super easy. Maybe!

Izsmom, I think my mom used to use that packet mix for her spaghetti.

Kat, does yah!

Aunty, I never heard of Healing Seitai before. I had to look it up. Looking forward to your "maybe" spaghetti post.

I see Yasumi Gojo (Healing Seitai) about once a month or so. I will see her next Tuesday, hurray! She fixes me up and the last time she gave me black garlic - that will be another post at another time. Anywho, you put the spaghetti noodles in a big enough zip lock bag and put enough water in to cover. Then you put the bag in the refrigerator. When you want to cook spaghetti, you take out the amount you want from the bag and put it in boiling water for 3 minutes. Wait. I think she said 3 minutes. LOL, ha ha ha ha! I'll find out and let you know. In any case, the noodles get cooked perfectly and you don't need to boil a big pot of water - just a small pot with just enough water like how you make saimin.
The next time I see her I will bring pen and paper.
