Last Friday a bunch of us met up with Kat from Adventures in Japan for brunch at Scratch Kitchen & Meatery. I had a great time catching up with Kat and getting to know my crazy cousin V (actually my cousin's cousin). I had a Yoga Bowl minus the egg. I liked it, but I was secretly jealous of V's Salmon Brunchwich and Mich's Eggs Benny. Yoga Bowl ($13).
I saw that ever since I was a kid. But I never ate there. We always ate at the old Paniolo Restaurant. What was that called?
Anyway. Last night I was watching Diners Drive Inns and Dives and they did a show on the Swiss Hibiscus in Portland Oregon! And guess who is running it>?
Yes! The Wyss Family from the Original Hawaii Swiss INN!!
I'm trying to find the video but I can't right now.
Mark, I used to like Swiss Inn's French Onion Soup. Are you talking about the restaurant that was on Kalanianaole at the beginning of Aina Haina? What in the world was that called, yah?

yummmmmmm thanks for inviting me!
Ohhh everything looks so good! Not usually a brunch person myself but these pics may change my mind!
Smoke Salmon Brunchwich looks right up my alley.
j: wow thanks for the info...looked them up on Yelp and seems everyone loves them. My kinda place, hearty rib sticking but tasty place. -N
Yeah, I'd be "secretly jealous" (lol) too because the Yoga Bowl looks the least appealing : /
Wow! Too delicious looking!
Wow! That's really gourmet fancy! Well done!
Remember the Swiss INN in Niu Valley?

Jalna. Yes Niu Valley. Originally the Swiss Inn. Then Martin Wyss sold in 2000 and it became the Swiss House.
