I totally copied a painting off of Mindy Lacefield's site. It's supposed to be a giraffe, but mine looks like an alien. I'm gonna fuss with it more after it dries a bit.
It's fun, but hard. I just have to remember to go with the flow and let things happen as they will.

j: wow awesome, no fo' realz. I figured what you'd paint would be pretty great cuz you are so gifted naturally - - all your crafting and photography - - so I know whatevahs you do will turn out. One time I went to the museum and there was this huge contemporary art. It was a horse saddle on a stand and it was painted black and had nails all stuck in and a frickin' mailbox. I was like WTH - THAT's art???? So no be hard on yourself....you not going hang 'em in a gallery. I also knew two artists and their art always made me go WTH...and THEY use to hang in galleries. -N
