The Storm Cometh

We got word that a major storm was heading our way, but last night we were still hopeful.

See Leslie's pics to find out how we were DENIED today. We went into Port Angeles town to see if we could salvage the day, but the rain again thwarted our plans.

We returned back to our house where I spent time here.

Les spent time here. Susie's brother picked her up. She's spending the rest of her vacation with relatives.

We were supposed to go down to the beach tomorrow, but with gale winds in the forecast, people at the Visitor Center advised us against doing so. Sooooooo, guess where me and Leslie are tonight. At the Hyatt in Seattle!!! Hoooo hoooo, I cannot tell you how impressed I am at Leslie for her ability to make arrangements on the fly, drive through the rain and save our vacation with minimal effort on her part. IT'S SO UNREAL!!!

Les, at least we're in civilization now.

That's funny Kat.

Shun Wah, all three of us have Canon gear. I just brought 3 light lenses, but you should see what the other 2 brought.

How many lens did you folks bring? Kind of looks like an African safari shoot.

I am sooooo envious of your trip to the Olympic Nat. Forest! I remember the Solduc falls and the pier. Sooooo incredibly beautiful. But, I guess the rain and the cold would make it hard to enjoy the park! Have fun in Seattle and stay clear of flying fish (at the Pike Place Market)!

Betty, I just loooove our hotel room. It really is swanky. Even got HDTV!!

Erick, I only brought 3 lenses, Les brought 3 too and Susie brought 4. Put together I guess it looks like a lot.

Fawn, you were so right . . . unbelievably beautiful despite the rain.
