I returned to the Garden of Fortune today to get shots of Ken Duit's expanding menu selections. The place has changed a lot already, but I was so busy taking pictures of the new food stuff that I forgot to get shots of the improvements for you to see. I'll be returning again soon, so I'll try to remember to catch it then.
thanks for today

WOW!!! Now, I really must check this place out.
Next time you're in Chinatown, mmiissee, corner of Maunakea and Hotel.
ooooo; those pick chaz came out real good! looks really ono!
Ok, I'm going to write it down. Do you know what each food is in the pictures? There's one that looks like a halo halo with Ube ice cream. Would you happen to know their store hours?
wow.. those look soo yummy....the arrangement of each dessert looks so professional.. nice pics. You must've had to take a shot real fast before the ice cream melts!
Thanks Rand.
Sorry Mmiissee, I shoulda labeled the food, but I got lazy . . . my bad. The crepes were banana, strawberry and mac nut with vanilla ice cream. I don't know what the second drink is, but it was very exotic looking. I wish I tried it. The one with the purple ice cream is halo halo. I tasted a little of that . . . was ono. The chocolate cupcakes had fillings, the white filling is haupia. The brown ice cubes with milk pouring on it is iced coffee. There's a pink lemonade, rootbeer float and the last picture is like a bread pudding. I don't know the hours, but the phone number is 550-8868.
Shun Wah, luckily I didn't have to do the plating this time, and you're right everything was melting so fast.
Oh da ono looking. Great photos! I really like try the halo halo, one of my favorites.
wooooowww! Sorry I missed it! I really wish I was there with you instead of being stuck at the office. You know I didn't punch out till 5:20?!?!?! and it was a holiday!!! grrrr...
Thank Erick!
Next time Les. Ken wants to do another shoot with more food.
OMG....is that the famous "banana cake?"
They are all so awesome looking! I love the orchids and plumerias in the presentation of each item.
Didi, there's a famous banana cake?
Betty, I like the flowers too.
Yup, from Vietnam of Laos..or some Indonesian country...
Didi, the lady who made the banana thing was Vietnamese.
