It's been a year today since Kona passed. I hadn't been able to bring myself to throw away his toy so a few weeks ago I washed it instead.
Now it sits on my desk.

Awww.. love and hugs Jalna. Hoping good memories of Kona will comfort you. We lost our Rozie a year ago too and it was so hard. But now we can talk about her where it’ll bring a smile on our faces rather than tears. When the time is right, maybe you may get another dog to shower with all your love.
J, see I know the missing part. I miss all my past kids, even 30 years later. He is now in Paradise and having the best life ever. So much fun and he'll see you again for sure. You were a good mommy. :D -N
