So smart! btw, I am trying out a different style of mask which doesn't use pellon but it does use more fabric and thinner elastic than the bra cup one. I call it the origami mask because it sorta lies flat and has "wings". Several Vietnamese sewers on YouTube show it but I tweaked their pattern and way of sewing it so it is easier. lmk and I can send you one.
Elastic is the problem - and Amazon's sellers are backed up to the summer. I found sellers on eBay that are more able to ship out fast - but some only sell 10 yards and for a high price - like over $1 per yard. That's crazy when it should be 15¢ a yard or less.
Aunty, can you email a link to the YouTube video? I have elastic coming from Amazon and eBay and yes, they've gotten $$$$. I'm almost out of pellon but have started using ugly fabric instead. Good way to get rid of them. Seems to be working out. I think I may be winding down now and may be sewing for only another couple weeks. I miss drawing and painting and fear that I've probably regressed in my progress. Thanks again for all your help with mask supplies and advice.

Les, I've had the fabric for awhile. In fact, a lot of the fabric I've had for awhile. I'm happy to be putting them to good use.
