Choke Garlic

I peeled choke garlic the other day and Landon made some of that garlic rice that I blogged about previously.  Came out good. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo of the rice. It looked the same as on the video.

Mmmmmm. Garlic is heaven sent and my favorite smell when cooking. I made a ceramic garlic box that looks like a little prison rectangle with a lid. I used to buy the big bag of garlic from Costco and share half and even so, by the time I use up my garlic it would get buggy or rotten. My garlic prison box seems to keep the garlic in top shape! I want to make more to give to family and friends but we don't have ceramic classes anymore, and so I have to wait. One more thing put on hold, but is okay.

I do the same, peel my own. It's actually cathartic; relaxing and focus on the skin no go on floor. I eat a garlic clove everyday, very good medicinal properties

Hard for me to find garlic now. Seems that everyone in Scam Diego suddenly figured out it's good for your immune system! Dangit!

Kay, it's a simple dish but ono!

Izsmom, I know what you mean!

V, LOL.

Aunty, I love your garlic prison box idea.

Kat, they didn't seem too fresh, so after peeling I put them a glass jar and refrigerated.

Chet, it was kinda relaxing to do.

Mark, awwww.
