My Vietnamese Tomato Noodle Soup v. 2

I tweaked the original recipe and now it's just right for me.

For this particular meal I fried up some tofu and added it in.

Stir fry:
1 lb. ground pork
1 tbs. oil
4 tbs. dried shrimp
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tomatoes, cut in pieces
1/2 onion, sliced

8 cups chicken broth
4 tbs. fish sauce

pho rice noodles
fried onions to garnish

Mmm looks delicious! Never thought of the fried onions for garnish but they do that at the Vietnamese restaurants!

Susan, I'm kinda hooked on those fried onions now.

Izsmom, it is.

Kay, I love it.

Chet, I prefer this kind of broth over a creamy one.

Kat, yes!

Yay Caroline! I hope you like it.
