Lunalilo Home held a Thanksgiving imu fundraiser. For $25 you can bring your foil-wrapped turkey, ham or pork butt and have them put it into their imu for you. They let me put an item in for free as a thank you for volunteering. So nice!!
Here is the imu being fired in preparation.
This is our finished brisket that Wendell chose to put into the imu! It was a hit at our Thanksgiving gathering!
Oh looks so ono! So for $100 ($25 + $75) you get the stuffing, pumpkin crunch, etc? Sounds so ono. Maybe next year instead of Lanikila Kitchen. Was good from there for $120 but this year the turkey wasn't as hot. Still, was easy, and I like easy.

I’m not much of a meat eater but wow, that looks really good! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I bet the brisket was tender, from cooking in the emu. Did Wendell season it with a smoke sauce or marinade?
Yum! That looks really juicy awesome!
looks good and what a great fundraiser!
Celia, totally!
Izsmom, we had a nice gathering.
Susan, me too, but I did enjoy a taste . . . or two.
Aunty, at drop-off I saw Wandaful in the line ahead of us but never got a chance to talk to her.
Chet, Wendell did season a little with garlic and some other spices.
Kay, it was very juicy.
Kat, I agree.
wow that sounds like a good deal!
Les, worth it, yah.
