Matouk's Hot Sauce
I went to Mercado De La Raza on Beretania sometime last month and decided to look for hot sauce for Landon. The gal there recommended Matouk's. I bought a small bottle for $5.95. She said that she suspected I might be back for the bigger bottle.
She was right. Lan likes it a lot. It's too spicy for me. A small dot on my tongue left it numb for a few minutes.
I went back again yesterday to get a few bottles to give away for Christmas.
The bigger bottle is $11.95.

I like spicy, but not where I can’t taste anything after. LOL

This looks like something my brother would like... but left your tongue numb? Yikes!
I don't have a cast iron stomach, opu can't handle hot and spicy. I like Tabasco on certain foods, that's the extent I can handle.
I might have to get one for randy too then!
scotch bonnets...spicy!
j: I am so into Salsa and I like the locally produced one Andy's Salsa. He started at farmer's market and now he has the Salsa in Safeway and Foodlan of various heats. They don't carry his full line but the main thing is that it has Chinese parsley in it and he goes up to 3 chili peppers that are SUPER HOT. I love spicy but my mouth and tummy can only handle it so much. IMO he has the best salsa -- next to my landlord's home made of course-N
Izsmom, for real, yah.
Kay, the gal at the store said it's very popular.
Chet, I no can handle too.
Les, I think he'll like it.
Kat, very!
N, I think I've seen Andy's Salsa. I'll make sure to pick up a tub next time I make nachos.
I like spicy food but I also like to enjoy the wonderful flavors -like Thai food. Why they make it so spicy I don’t understand.

Susan, I agree . . . sometimes too spicy.
Didi, I bought for him.
