Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2!!!!!!!!!

Release Date: May 5, 2017

From Fox News:

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is going to explode in theaters like a "supernova" according to star Chris Pratt.
“This ups the ante for the last one in every way and shape you can imagine,” he said at the movie's Los Angeles premiere, comparing it to the first installment. “It’s funnier, it moves faster, it’s richer, it has more dynamic stories, deeper emotional pull…we get to spend more time storytelling and less time giving expository backstory and origin story. It’s emotionally driven, character driven, relationship driven, epic space supernova that explodes and it’s bigger brighter faster than any movie you have ever seen.”

BABY GROOT!!!  Sooooo cuuuuute!!!

Dunno if I can wait for the DVD to come out on this one. I might have to dish out the big $$$$ to see it at the theater.

I didn't think I would enjoy the first Guardians, it wasn't bad all. I couldn't get over the raccoon....lol. I liked Dave Bautista. Looking forward #2.

Hahahahaha, Chet . . . I agree . . . the raccoon was a small-kine strange character.

j: me three. I nevah care for the raccoon either! That one character spoiled the whole movie for me...like it was a parady. I watched the re-runs on t.v. and didn't spark my interest, though I finally got the I am Groot line I saw all over the 'net. And scifi and fantasy are my #1. -N

N, I'm curious . . . did you like Lord of the Rings? I dragged my mom to the theater for all three movies.

J: I think I watched the first two. I found them very tedious. I read the books about 30-40 years ago so I forgot most of it.At that time the genre was not popular so there weren't that many books I did watch every scifi/fantasy film I could get to see...most them were poorly made though - the CGI sucked them if there was any. Some were those stupid clay figures or costumes like Godzilla. yuck yuck yuck. My fave has always been the original Bladerunner it was so ahead of it's time and can stand up to scrutiny even today. The Terminator book by Piers Anthony (my former fave til he got all soft porn) was even better than the original movie. I'm not into the fantasy swashbuckler blade and slash genre either. Also tired of werewolf/vampire genre too. Could barely stand to watch Twilight after the first one. Guess I've gotten really picky now with all the availability these days.

You read the books, N!! I tried, but was too hard for me to understand. I didn't even know there was a Terminator book. As you can tell I don't read much . . . reading puts me to sleep. I've been listening to audiobooks lately. And talking about stupid clay figures. Did you see Kubo? The storyline is not all that great, but the stop motion animation is unreal. So much detail went into creating everything . . . down to even hand sewing the costumes.

j: I'm all audio books now too...borrowed from the Library. Easier than reading and they have voice actors so the book truly comes alive. I listen while driving, in the shower and when there is no good t.v. No I didn't see Kubo. I don't watch movies any more. The hassle of renting then switching my t.v. back and forth. Junk. If I REALLY want to see a movie I buy it from Amazon. My last one was Pets which I thought was junk. I use to be such an avid reader too.Now I try not to go into the library cuz I can borrow 20 books AND not read them. -N
