I noticed that some of my older recipes have been getting a lot of hits this past week. I totally forgot about some of them. Here they are. You should at least check out "Killer Kalbi" . . . it's funny.
All look great! I want to try those sweet potato cookies. At Gazen Izakaya (across from Kaimuki High School), they have a delicious (expensive at $5) dessert made with a warm sweet potato mochi cookie and topped with ice cream and Earl Grey tea.
Spare ribs looks super easy. And I will try the onion and sprite marinade to soften meat before grilling.
Hey, Jalna. I copied down Wendell's salmon recipe (actually, I don't like salmon, but this one looks like it'll make the salmon palatable to me), and I'm going to try it tonight (the salmon was free, from one of the guys in the office who went fishing in Alaska this summer)! I'll let you know how it turns out (b/c I don't have chili oil, but I have this garlic chili oil I bought from a pho restaurant here, and that garlic chili oil is like firecrackers in the mouth)!!

Yum yum!
Awesome killer food threads Jalna! The Killer Kalbi looks awesome! But for me, I prefer red onions. They are sweeter, like me! ; )
Thanks Akemi!
Aunty, I still haven't gone to Gazen Izakaya yet. Someday . . .
LOL, Mark!
