Japan - Day 4 - Jigokudani (Hell Valley)

Sunday, October 16, 2016 Noboribetsu, Hokkaido

Last stop before checking into the Noboribetsu Grand Hotel was Jigokudani, a ravine with hot steam vents and sulfurous streams, known to be the source of Noboribetsu's hot spring waters. It was only about 5 minutes away from the hotel and easily accessible . . . which was a good thing because I was feeling pretty tired by this time.
