Don't even rememba why I needed to know the time out in the water. I guess it was just the cool thing to wear.
I have a nice Casio divers watch right now that needs a new battery. I think I'm going to have the new battery installed, and wear my divers watch while I ride my bike along the Pacific Beach boardwalk for the nostalgia!
I actually have not worn my watch since I bought my first cell phone in 2003, because it tells me the time. So actually, I do not know why anyone needs to wear a watch anymore. Since everyone has cell phones. But I think watches are fun and cool!

Dd, thank you for the watch box! One was good enough. No more room on top of the dresser for another one. I think Wendell can just keep his favorites in the box as he gets more . . .!!!! I didn't know Cy likes watches. Good to know.

I still have the first watch my mom bought me when I was six years old (I am 52 now). It was a Timex bought at Gems department store Kapalama in the 60's.
Great, Kawika. You can put your favorite ones in there. I can't believe you have your first watch! I wish I had mine. I was in the second grade. It was a Cinderella watch. My dad got it for me on his payday from the PX.
