Wendell said that he made this recipe up.  It was goooood . . . moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside.  There are only four ingredients.

Wendell said that he made a paste with mayonnaise and minced garlic.  He coated each chicken slice with the paste and then panko. Then he fried um.  Easy yah!

Hi Jalna, do I have to salt the chicken?

jalna said...

Susan, I just asked Wendell . . . he said that he did use a little garlic salt in the mayonnaise mix.

Tks, this was really good. Usually I just salt and lemon/pepper and panko crust it but it tends to be too dry.

looks great, my mom makes cornflake crusted chicken, with mayo..but i like the idea of garlic/mayo and panko better, sounds ono! Go all the ingredients in pantry. refer, so ill try this in a day or two! thanks for sharing :)

gonna try this tonight. I added a few drops ( very little) shoyu and about 1/8 - 1/2 tsp sesame oil to the mayo and garlic, and seasoned the chicken with some fresh ground sea salt and cracked blk peppa. the shoyu and sesame add a nice " zing" to the mayo, its based on a sauce I use for a dish called mahimahi laulau, just milder.
Thanks for sharing, im sure its gunna be ono!
