I keep forgetting that we have an Asahi Grill near my working place. Luckily, last week coworker Michele decided to pick up lunch for us from there. I say "luckily" because the food was supa ono.
I raved about it so much that Wendell wanted to check it out. We went on Saturday. I thought this hand-drawn parking sign was cool.
On my sister Sweetie's recommendation I ordered the Loco Moco. It was really, really good. If the eggs look overcooked, it is. I wanted it that way. I don't like runny eggs . . . reminds me of hana bata.
This is Michele's Fried Saimin. It was good, but coulda used a tad more dashi flavoring.
CQ's garlic chicken was da bomb . . . soft and moist on the inside and nice and crunchy on the outside with the perfect amount of flavoring.
Here's Wendell's Loco Moco. Note to Lance: Wendell said that it was good but that he likes Masa's better.
I ordered a Tan Tan Min on Saturday. I liked it, but didn't care for the pork too much.
