Ooh, my alma mater. How was the food?
thank you so so so much Jalna! You're a lifesaver! I think I was talking story too much and never got enough pictures!!
Mmiissee, the food was really good . . . you know how later on you wish you ate more.
Any time Les!
My alma mater too! My class of '60 is having its 50th class reunion next weekend. Can't make either of my class reunions. Bummer!! Great pictures! Les looks good!!
Well Betty, hope I can get some good pictures at your reunion for you!
very nice!!! the colors came out really nice.. what white balance do you user? I use flash, but people always come out washed out.. and i get lots of noise..pls let me know your settings..thx..
Thanks Shun Wah. I know what you mean about flash photography. It's so hard. For these pictures my settings were mostly 1/80 to 1/100 at about f5 to f5.6, auto white balance (I used the eye dropper tool in Lightroom to fix), ISO 1250 to 1600(!). Lately I've been pointing my flash straight up and using the white card thing that pops out. I used to use a diffuser but I kinda don't anymore. You should've seen me when I was shooting with Geralyn . . . I was such a copycat. If she pointed her flash up, I pointed my flash up. If she pointed it straight at the subject, I pointed mine straight at the subject. If she bounced hers, I bounced mine. It was funny.
Thanks Jalna, for sharing those great tips! I'll look into that eye dropper tool .. maybe it'll get rid of the yellows from my underexposed shots.
