I wonder if any of you old farts remember Taco Hut outside of Holiday Mart on Kaheka. They had the best Nachos. Anyway, in the spot where Taco Hut used to be is now Leo's Taverna Express which sells Greek food. I got this Gyro salad the other day. It was just okay . . . little bit plain. The dressing was good, but you really need about 3 times the amount that they give to you. It was $7.45.
I thought this hummus was good, but Brandee with her expert going-to-culinary-school palate said that it was, "Junk". It was $5.25. Heyyyyyyy, I just realized something . . . I gave it to her to try and I never got it back. What'sUpWithThat, Bran????
thanks for today

definitely, manini with the gyros on the salad, especially for $7.45.
Ron, soooo manini. I ended up with choke lettuce and NO dressing. I gave it to Bran with the hummus. She said, "Wow, thanks a lot for the lettuce and the one tomato." No wonda she neva give me back my "junk" hummus.
Looks so go! It a little expense for so little food. I think I'll skip Leo's. Thanks for the evaluation.
So, I'm guessing this place is not a keeper, huh? Doesn't look very inviting. Expensive for a salad with hardly anything on it.
:(
Betty, I'd still go back if I'm ever ono for some gyros 'cause unlike Korean food, that's the only Greek place in the area.
Kat, it's been in that location for awhile so other people must like it. Maybe I should try something else.
WOW Jalna, since you love taking pictures of food, maybe you should try commercial photography business?
By the way, you need to check out Menehune Mac in Ala Moana. It's very good. Its located on the second floor right next to Neman Marcus.
Susan, the owner, is my friend. Tell her your my assistant.
Aloha and thank you for sharing.
Hey, howzit Jose. Thanks for the tip. Next time I'm in the area I'll go check out your friend!
