great shots, looks like it was lots of fun!
Maaaaan! How come I always miss the good ones?? This looked like it was fun...awesome pics Jalna! I see you got back to your car safely! Can't wait to see the kids day ones...
Thanks Kat! It was the best of both worlds . . . doing what I enjoy the most and being entertained at the same time.
Les, sorry but you did miss out. Not only is Makana mega talented and very charismatic, but he's really a super nice guy too. Maybe next time 'cause you know we ARE da team.
These are great, Jalna. We've heard him once in a concert with Na Leo over in Walnut Creek. He is pretty awesome!!
Wow....the bass player and I go wayway back, maybe the late 70's? at Stuart Andersons....he played with Country Living, remember that band ?? and then we reunited when they played at John Dominis years later...nice to c that he is still at it !!
AWSOME, Jalna, jusr AWSOME!!!
Thanks Betty. I agree AWESOME.
Wow Didi, Stuart Andersons . . . Country Living . . .
Thanks Susie!
Looks like a great event to photograph but looks like a tough shoot because of the darkness. I don't think you can use flash for the performance? The white balance came out really natural looking. Nice!
Thanks! I think the hardest part of the shoot was the shadows created by the lights coming from the sides. I did use the flash pointed up with the bounce card extended on some of the shots.
Love the first two shot, great intro shots for the Makana shoot! I going try get cool shots like that too, but I will probably forget. Nice shooting, the skins tones are fantastic, so real looking. Great job!
Thanks Erick!
