I used to make this a lot back in the days when I had more energy. It's fairly easy to make . . . even for me.

For the dough, mix together 1 c. butter or margarine, 6 oz. cream cheese and 2 cups sifted flour.

Press into minature muffin tins. The recipe makes 3 1/2 dozen but I only have 3 muffin tins which makes 3 dozen, so I ended wasting some of the filling.

For the filling mix together 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 tsp. melted butter, 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans, 2 eggs, slightly beaten and 1 tsp. vanilla.

The recipe says to put filling 1/2 to 3/4 way up . . . I just fill it up.

Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees, reduce heat to 250 degrees for another 10 minutes.

If you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
