I saw this alien-looking Dragon Fruit in Foodland and I just had to bust out my camera (after arranging the fruit all nice).

just take one bite at the store. If it is good, pay for it. If no good, put em back. Nice fruit shot!
Wow, I've never seen a pink dragon fruit..aren't they supposed to be white? Good thing your photo is so sharp I can read the little label on the fruit! I've never tried them, but sure looks delicious...except for the sticker shock...wow..
Wow...I've never seen dragon fruit before. It looks pretty cool. I might try it if it wasn't so expensive. :)
Erick you so nuts.
the price of fresh fruit in Hawaii is ridiculous. I just bought peaches at $2 something a pound and it worked out to 80¢ each.
Ron, I know, THAT'S nuts, and we don't even get the best quality.
When I was in China a few years ago, I had some fruit at a buffet that was DELICIOUS! I didn't know what it was so I asked the guy working the buffet line and he said it was dragonfruit. The name and appearance are intimidating, but the fruit is simple and sweet.
I LOVE dragon fruit, my students and I made some frozen yogurt and a frozen drink with it (in a Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker)....yummmmm
Fawn and Didi, now I really want to try it . . . but soooo expensive!
I buy them from Chinatown, I think I paid $5.00 for 6 the last time
Thanks Didi . . . that's not bad at all.
