Fried Ginger Tofu

We had two tubs of just-expired tofu so I used Geri's Fried Ginger Chicken recipe and made this.  I liked it so much that I might've eaten a whole tub's worth by myself.

Aunty, I used just regular Canola oil, and I tried to use as little as possible. Maybe 1/4-inch or less in the frying pan?

Susan, for the guys it was a side dish. For me, main dish.

J, The chicken thighs, did you debone it first or just cut off the meat off the bone and also used the thigh bone? How does leftovers taste. Thanx-N

Ha.....when I first saw it, I thought it was crispy Gau Gee Mean. Looks ono.

N, I tried to "debone" but with my lack of skills it was more like cutting meat off. I threw away the bone. There wasn't much leftover, and somebody ate that up.

Chet, LOL. I kinda overcooked some pieces.
