I made these about a month ago for Wendell and a couple of his softball buddies.
They came out good . . . you kinda can't go wrong with peanut butter cookies.
I found an easy recipe at the Allrecipe site. I cut the recipe in half because half was 'nuff.

Brings back memories of our mother baking peanut butter cookies, telling siblings and I to put the grill marks on the cookies with a fork.

Omigosh…your cookies remind me of my neighbor who babysat me when. I was little and she was a terrific baker and would let me help her with baking cookies. Roll the dough into balls, flour th3 bottom of a glass cup smash the dough ball down and press the fork tines criss cross and bake. Yum!
