Fried Ginger Chicken

Wendell saw my comment saying "maybe I might try to make it" on Geri's Fried Ginger Chicken blog post, and he bought a HUGE bag of frozen chicken thighs.

After a bit of a delay because I kept putting it off, I finally made it.

Not to brag (actually I AM bragging), but it came out sooooo ono.  You should try to make it even if you might not be a good cook (like me).  Your family will be impressed.

I still didn't try yet but I thinking of using frozen fried chicken, hoping it would save the worst part of Gerri's recipe....frying chicken! Can make just few pieces!

V, great idea! I really, really hate the oil splatter.

I made it and the taste was really good - but mine was too oily. I didn't drain the chicken after frying and I think I used too much oil at the end so actually it was even better the next day for leftovers. Super easy except making the ginger into long slivers.

Looks so delicious! I like V’s suggestion. I dislike deep frying anything. LOL

Aunty, I did drain my chicken, but I agree, didn't really need the whole 1/4 cup of pouring-over oil.

Izsmom, I wanna make it again, but yah . . .

Susan, hahahahaha.

Kat, Landon especially liked it.
