Wednesday, October 19, 2016 Aomori
Our breakfast buffet was at 6:30 a.m. on the 11th floor of the hotel. We took a window seat so that we could enjoy the view.
This is the Aomori Bay Bridge.
This is senbei soup, a popular Aomori dish.
We took a short walk after breakfast.
This is the building that housed a big Daiso store.
Our hotel was a designated Tsunami Evacuation Building.
Sweetie insisted with take a selfie with these hats on.
Blooper
thanks for today

fun & the buffet looked nice!
Yes, Kat, it was!
Great view of the waterfront. Kind of reminds me of Kobe. Gain another pound looking at the buffet...lol.
did you try the senbei soup? so interesting!
I see scallops : ) The scallop shell over the burner looks interesting. Love the sights!
LOL, Chet. I've never been to Kobe. In fact, I'm gonna look it up right now.
No, I didn't wanna get too full, Les. But I did buy a version of it at Marukai. It was a make-your-own kit. I bought two. And guess what . . . I gave one to CQ and one to Mich. I never did try it. LOL!!!!
That was so cool looking, yah, Susan.
Oh wow! You found the Daiso store. I love Daiso. We went to a Daiso in South Korea too. I just got back and now you're making me want to go to Japan again.
