Sooooo sad. Wendell's sister "Aunty" passed away unexpectedly yesterday. We got a call at around 1:30 pm from the Daycare that she goes to saying that she had developed a fever and was throwing up. She was immediately transported to Queen's ER via an ambulance, but she only got steadily weaker and weaker as the day progressed.
Aunty had several health issues and was probably not strong enough to fight off this latest bout of illness.
Aunty was a gentle sole who loved all babies and animals. She lived in a quiet, unobtrusive manner, never demanding, never complaining.
As suddenly as it happened, I knew that this day would come. I knew that she would leave us. I just didn't realize how hard it would be. The house feels so empty without her.

OMG Jalna i am so sorry for your loss. I could tell you loved her by the way you would blog about her through the years. I remember you even bought your Subaru so that she could easily get in & out of your vehicle. Again I am so sorry for your families

It was so nice seeing you and mom on Saturday! My apologies for not acknowledging sooner on the loss of aunty. I've been so busy lately that I haven't had the time to view your blog. I was shocked to hear the sad news from Phyllis. My deepest condolences to you, Wendall and Landon.You all took sooo good care of aunty and she was blessed to be loved by such a loving and caring family!
