Sophie's Pizza
HI PEOPLES!!! How have you been? Good, I hope. So hot now, yah! I was sick the last couple of weeks, and I still get small-kine cough and gala gala, but at least I'm back at work . . . and back to blogging. Don't think I can keep up with the blog-a-day thing anymore, but will still post whenever I can.
Me and Geri were gonna check out Moena Cafe in Koko Marina Center this past weekend, but on our way we noticed Sophie's Gourmet Hawaiian Pizzeria which was right next door. We debated for about one second and chose pizza instead.
It's kinda like Pieology . . .
except it's not unlimited toppings. Instead you can choose either a 3-topping/1 cheese or a 5-topping/2 cheese design-your-own pizza.
If you tend to pressure out like me when trying to build your own pizza, you can choose one of Sophie's Picks instead.
This contraption presses the dough into shape.
Here is Geri's guava-infused dough with some macadamia nut cream sauce.
This is their brick oven. It has a rotating table inside.
You can also turn your pizza into a calzone if you like (I think).
This is Geri's pizza made with guava-infused dough, 1/2 macadamia nut cream and 1/2 herb/olive oil sauce, mozzarella/parmesan cheese, and pepperoni, sun-dried tomatoes, mushroom, garlic and arugula toppings.
This is mine made with guava-infused dough, 1/2 pesto and 1/2 herb/olive oil sauce, mozzarella/parmesan cheese, and artichoke hearts, bacon, spinach, spicy chicken sausage and garlic toppings.
You can eat outdoors if you like. Me and Geri chose air-conditioning instead.
We still have yet to eat at Moena Cafe, but I think that me and Geri made a good decision . . . the pizzas were yummy!!!!

j: welcome back....if you're not blogging I read the bloggers you have listed on your page. Love your east side food reviews since I haven't gone there in ages. I've been trying to go to 5 guys burgers and fries but the lines are still snaking around the building. I'll wait until there are no lines or minimal but all yelp reviews given 'em 4 stars which is good. Great to see you back...btw I don't know how you and Kat blogs every day! Summer colds feel the worse, hope you feel mo' bettah-N
