Huh? Those look like drumsticks and not thighs! Sounds simple and ono, though. Another must-try.
Hahahahaha, Lorna . . . you're right! Goes to show you that I don't even hardly read the recipes. I just cut and paste! And eat.
yummy!
That looks so 'ono... how do you think it'd taste with white meat instead of drumsticks? I have all the ingredients!
j: is it sweet-ish? -N
It was, Kat!
It should be really good, Moki. The recipe actually calls for thighs.
N, I would say it's more savory than sweet.
ummm....Wendells version looks way way better than the original .... schlurrppppp
Dd, looks more ko-ge, yah.
that looks yummy, and easy too!
Yah Les, little bit ingredients . . . just my style!
Looks so delicious. I never thought that it would be easy to make. I've never used white miso before. Does it taste the same? I actually thought there was only 1 type of miso. Just thinking about eating chicken; have you tried Von's Chicken? They have a few locations. It's so good...sort of pricey. I have only tried Garlic Crispy chicken and Crispy Shoyu. There's 2 variations (crispy or roasted). Crispy is the BEST!
Mmiissee, white miso and red miso have different flavors, though I can't describe the difference. I've never had Von's Chicken . . . by your description, it sounds so good!
Mmm, I still have some white miso that I bought in Japan last year. I will definitely try this.
Great, Susan!
