Weeds in the Backyard
A dragonfly lingered over the backyard for a really long time as I watched through the bedroom window this morning. I always think that dragonflies have a message for me so although my back still HURTS LIKE HELL, I grabbed my camera and macro lens and hobbled outside. I quickly realized that there was no way I could get a shot of the dragonfly so I focused my lens instead on a shady patch of weeds. The flowers were so cute, only about a 1/2 inch in diameter at most. Maybe when my back gets better I'll drag out my tripod and try to get clearer shots. Wonder what my message was.

Thanks Kat! That link is so interesting. Gotta go back and read it some more. There's this bird, maybe some kind of cardinal that's been tapping on our window every morning. Wendell thinks it's annoying. I think it's pretty neat.
I don't know Betty, but I think we gotta start pulling um soon. They're kinda overtaking the grass. I'm still a little congested in my lungs. I hate the back thing the worse though. I have photo shoots that I'm committed to that I don't want to cancel, but it's hard to do a good job when your back is sore.
