One More Story

Hoo, I fell asleep early last night and never posted nothing. Erick had commented on my previous post and asked if I had any more stories. So quickly, before I go to see my mom today, one more . . . I was two years old watching TV. My mom stopped her ironing to make me a corned beef patty sandwich. When she brought the sandwich to me she warned me not to touch the iron because it was hot. She left to go back onto the kitchen. I wondered . . . how can the iron be hot when I don't see any flames? So I touched it with my right pointer finger. "WAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!", I cried. My mom came rushing back and said, "What happened? The sandwich too hot?" I said, "Waaaaah, yes." She brought me an ice cube for my finger. It made my owie better, but mostly I was relieved that I didn't get busted.

Fawn, I have another memory from when I was two years old. It isn't even vague . . . it's vivid. I'll have to tell you in person 'cause my mom would kill me if I wrote about it on my blog.
