My Aunty Kitty handmade this blanket which she gave to Cy and Diem as her baby shower gift. My mom was so impressed by the hard work that it must've taken to make the blanket that she asked me to include it in my blog. My aunty sewed together about 1,300 of these 1-inch x 1-inch squares to make the blanket! Isn't that amazing! Thank you Aunty Kitty. I'm sure Cy and Diem will treasure the blanket for a very long time.
Oh wow! This is beautiful! I want to show this to Irene. She quilts. After we had lunch yesterday we went over to her house and she showed me some of her quilts she's made or in the process of making. She has a wall hanging one that are kimonos. She has several Asian ones, all absolutely gorgeous. I've always loved quilts, have a new appreciation for them now that I've seen Irene's. It does take a lot of time to make them.
