Romano's Macaroni Grill

Wendell and I were both on vacation last week . . . YIKES, I know . . . too much time together yah.  It went well though.  We each had a few days where we had our own things to do so we managed to avoid annoying each other too much.  We ended up at Macaroni Grill in Ala Moana Shopping Center one day.  Wendell had never been there before and it was I think my third time.  I was so looking forward to getting their salad with strawberries and chicken and was disappointed to find out that they no longer made it. In fact they kinda revamped the whole menu.  You can check out the menu here.  We ordered a bunch of stuff, and they were all good.  Thank you so much for the gift card, Edsel!!

We had the famous Macaroni Grill Rosemary Bread to start.


I ordered Lentil Soup ($6.50).  It was good, but I shouldn't have ordered it . . . this and the bread made me full.


Stuffed Mushrooms ($11.59).  It was stuffed with Italian sausage, goat cheese, spinach and breadcrumbs . . . yummmm!!


Salad Sampler ($15).  On the left is a Caesar Salad, in the middle is the Market Chop (turkey, provolone, pepperoni, artichoke) and on the right is the Bibb & Blue (bibb leaves, blue cheese, walnuts and pickled red onions).


Smoky Shrimp Flatbread ($18).  True to its name, it was very smoky flavored with seared shrimp, mozarella and pancetta. It was really, really good.
