Brush Pen Drawing

Halfway through this Hokusai wannabe drawing I decided to record with my phone.  Here's the result.

You have such a steady hand! I had a copy of that woodblock print - done by an apprentice or something like that. It amazed me that each color was from a separate woodblock that was carved, then inked, and then applied to paper. Your brush strokes made me more amazed because can you imagine carving those lines?

I notice you don't draw in a particular spot and concentrate on that area. Are you doing it randomly?

Aunty, woodblock printing always amazes me. How can yah?!

Izsmom, thanks. I enjoyed doing those curly lines.

Chet, I think so.

Kat, I thought so too, so I had to copy. LOL.

Susan, I think it's a practice in slowing down.

V, LOL. Thank you so much for the beautiful sumi set. It's in such pristine condition, I'm gonna have a hard time using it. I still have the Inkstick and block you gave me awhile back.
