Here's Cleta's recipe for her fruit compote. Looks so ono! Thanks, Cleta!
Any combination apple, pear, strawberries cut in bite size chunks. Put in pot w/fresh lemon juice and abt 10% sugar to weight of fruits (I use Swerve a sugar replacement) or to taste. Cook on med-low til fruits are soft but not mushy. Chill. Eat plain or w/yogurt, oatmeal, ice cream, etc.
