Two days ago it broke.
Wendell went to Best Buy and was greeted by a sales associate . . . outside. No one was allowed inside. I liked that.
The sales associate said that Wendell needed to order a new one online. There would be no installation, delivery to the door only, and no haul away of the old machine. All understandable, except I wish they would take away the old machine.
New machine comes today . . . sometime from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
It's 6:49 a.m. right now. The guys are still sleeping. But I've been up since 5:00 a.m. so I'm ready.

What a terrible time for this to happen. I'm worried about stuff around here too.
My washing machine looks like yours. I’m jealous over the high tech, good looking ones ppl have. My hubby said the new computerize ones will get messed up faster here since we always have power glitches and outages. Hopefully the old style kind isn’t totally obsolete when I need a new one. What kind you get?
Hope it all went well! So you still homebound? I went to Hawaii Kai Costco today. Was perfect. No lines, even had rice. But not the Shirakiku microwave rice I like. I wore a dinky paper mask. Made me feel anonymous.

Susan, we got a Maytag. Wendell hooked it up. We did a test run and it ran okay.
Aunty, yes, still homebound. Been two weeks. Glad you got to go to Costco. I think even a dinky mask is better than nothing. And I like feeling anonymous.
I'm late I know. I have a Whirlpool washer and gas dryer. I've had these since 1991. I really like a gas dryer. I think it gives off a much better heat and shortens the dry time. The only thing I have had to fix in all of these years is the drive belt on the dryer. Cheap fix! I swear by Whirlpool. My Whirlpool fridge has lasted just as long. Just one new compressor after 15 years of use. That's amazing. A couple years ago I upgraded to a newer Used on Craigslist $300 Whirlpool energy efficient fridge just because. Only 3 years old like new.

Kat, one of the hoses didn't exactly fit, but Wendell did some magic. It's working good, but we're still trying to get used to the new-fangled, high-efficiency nature of the machine.
so what time did they show up? Did Wendell wake up in time??
