Spinning Woman

Happy Easter, peoples!! I almost neva have anything to blog today, but this was in an email that my friend Steven sent to me. Thanks Steven!

I want to be a genius, but I cannot for the life of me get her to spin left as well as right. Which way does she spin for you?  I'm curious.

Look at the spinning woman. If she is turning right your right side of your brain is working. If she is turning left your left side of your brain is working. If she turns both ways for you then you have a 160 or better IQ.

I saw it both ways. I think it's got to do with visual perception. BTW, I couldn't access the link you posted so I Googled it.

Annie, I think you must be a genius. Thanks for letting me know about the picture. Hopefully I fixed it.

Actually the video switches direction. Sneaky.
So it's neither visual perception nor am I genius.

Annie, I fixed the gif image on my blog. Do you see it going both ways? I see it only circling clockwise.

I see it both ways, but only when I look away for awhile. I am not a genius. I found an article that said it was passed around as a way to test right brain left brain dominance, but that's not accurate. It's more to do with visual perception. https://www.medicaldaily.com/right-your-eyes-science-behind-famous-spinning-dancer-optical-illusion-336122.

That was fun! Thanks for sharing.

Izsmom, took me forever to get her to go left. I tried all kine ways, until finally when I squinted it worked. But then when I looked at her feet she went right again.

Just wait for her to switch, I look at her legs then looked at her upper body. She switches back and forth. 😀cool!

LOL, Susan. She just doesn't do it so easily for me. I have to practically cross my eyes!

I watched her spin for ten minutes and she continuously turned to the right. I was beginning to think that something was wrong with the left side of my brain but just when I was about to give up, she suddenly turned to the left, then to the right, left, right, left. She was making me dizzy so I had to stop watching her. ~e
