Renewed My Driver's License
I really didn't mind the 1 1/2 hours it took to complete the process, even though a lot of the time was spent waiting in line in the rain. I didn't mind paying the $40 it cost to renew my driver's license. I didn't even mind the monotone, hate-my-job gal who "helped" me.
But what really bothered me and will continue to bother me for the next 8 years is that there was not a single mirror in the picture-taking area which would have alerted me to the status of my rain-drenched appearance.

But do you look like George Washington?? :-)
Hahahaha! I am due soon. Usually it is super fast! I always go to Jennifer if I can.
Lol.....I have no patience waiting in lines; that's a virtue I need work on.
oh no!
LOL, I can just imagine your face when you saw your picture! Just say you lost it and go get another one! But go somewhere else that has a faster line!
Hahahahahahaha, Les.
Aunty, actually only took 10 minutes at the counter. The rest of the time was spent waiting.
Chet, me too. And forget it if I'm hungry.
Kat, yup.
Mich, maybe. But I'm wondering if they might have the photo on record and can just reprint the damn thing. You should see Wendell's photo. He looks like he's in a daze. LOL.
No they don't have it on file, they took a new pic when I lost mine. :)
I know how you feel! My passport pic is THE worse. I mean it's down right, BUTT UGLY. Too bad they don't have a Glamour squad there to fix your hair and make up...and adjust the crappy camera lighting, for crying out loud! Mb you should apply to be the photographer. Haha
Yeah, we waited up to 4 hours or more when we thought we were getting a “real” ID, and they later tell us, “nope we were non compliant, it’s not a real ID” after all. Grrr...
Mich, ok. we'll see when I get the real one how much I hate it.
LOL, Annie. My passport photo sucks too. Hmmmm . . . maybe it's the face . . .
Ughhhh, Susan . . . irritating.
